ARTS + MUSEUMS TRAIL
East Ayrshire plays host to five museums, a contemporary art gallery and a theatre - the majority of which have recently been renovated and refurbished and awarded Visit Scotland star status.
Although many of our buildings themselves are historically important, it’s what’s going on inside them that’ll make you want to visit time and time again. We have a changing exhibition, collection and performance programme within all our spaces and loads of free year round special events taking place.
With the exception of the Palace, most of what we do is free although even the Palace has heavily subsidised ticket prices, to make sure you and your family can enjoy endless trips to our exciting venues.
